Associate Engineer/Senior Technician
Calibration Service Lab
- Upkeep reference standards and lab environment in tip-top
condition
- Manage schedule for best turnaround time for customers
- Organize documentation to comply with traceability and procedural
requirements
- Perform verification/calibration procedures, complete with
corresponding reports
- Liaise with customers on out-of-spec units, collection and
delivery of items
Production: Equipment assembly
- Document assembly process steps in consultation with engineers.
- Develop quality assurance measures per process step
- Liaise with suppliers for parts delivery and quality
- Organize assembly runs
- Test completed units
- Compile reports
Engineer (Hardware/Embedded)
Mixed signal electronics design covering
- Sensor interfaces
- Data acquisition from dynamic signals
- Interface for communication modules
- Very-low consumption battery power
- WDT for MCU; Protected general-purpose IO
- Supporting firmware
Embedded development
- Derive On-site unit architecture in consultation with Systems
- Define design specs with corresponding V&V instructions

Software

IT Position
The IT position covers
- Testing of web apps before and after deployment
- Monitor performance of web apps
- Server monitoring; those who can automate such tasks to some
extent will have an advantage since the current drive is for
productivity.
- Server load balancing and performance tuning.
- Server maintenance like the compacting and archiving of
ever-growing databases. And the boring task of rebooting the servers
when required.
All servers are currently on a mix of various flavors of Windows,
including Server 2008. Linux will be added at some point in time
with customer demand. Cloud-computing will definitely come.
We don’t do the classic type of admin.
Being able to do some embedded stuff (PIC and ARM platforms) at the
same time will be great.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
2 yrs exp in procurement, contract admin,
quotations and claims (Local Construction Exp).
Job Scope: prepare quotations and tenders,
actively follow up and secure new projects, progress claims,
identify and claim potential variation orders (VOs), resolve
contractual disputes and negotiate final accounts, award of
subcontracts, including sourcing, requesting quotations, negotiate
discounts, preparing subcontract LOA/ works orders, certify
subcontractors’ payments.

Current Vacancy:
- Qualified Person (Supervision)
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience as a Professional Engineer, of which at least five (5) years shall be in the supervision of works similar in nature to works in Downtown Line (DTL).
- Qualified Person (Supervision) Representative
A Professional Engineer with minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience as a Resident Engineer, of which at least five (5) years shall be in the supervision of works similar in nature to works in Downtown Line (DTL).
He should also have at least three (3) years of relevant experience in the geotechnical aspects of deep excavation projects of a similar size and complexity.
The SRE shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with educational qualifications recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore, with minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience on projects similar in nature to works in Downtown Line (DTL), including at least five (5) years in the design of geotechnical works for deep excavation projects of a similar size and complexity.
The SRE shall resolve all design and technical issues on site. He shall advise on and resolve design issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
- Senior Resident Engineer for bored/mined tunnels
The SRE shall have minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in the supervision of bored/mined tunnelling projects similar in nature to the Downtown Line (DTL).
- Professional Engineer (Geotechnical)
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience as a Professional Engineer, of which at least five (5) years shall be in the supervision of works similar in nature to works in Downtown Line (DTL).

Diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent with minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the works in Downtown Line (DTL).
- Resident Technical Officer for bored tunnels
